why are halogen lights legal?

I am pleasure to hear why are halogen lights legal.

At the present, some people hate halogen lights when mentioned them.

But I would like to say to you most of halogen lights legal on the roads.

In this time, I will try to explain to you why halogen lights are legal in here.

Frankly speaking, halogen lamps have been commonplace for about 30 years, and are a considerable improvement over ancient sealed beam lamps. The lamp is brighter, but a correctly-adjusted low beam has very good control over the beam pattern which keeps the main light out of oncoming drivers’ eyes. Park facing a wall and you’ll see the flat cutoff of the pattern, with a kickup to the side to illuminate road signs.

If the light is poorly adjusted, or if drivers use their high beams, obviously they will dazzle, but that comes down to improper maintenance or bad driving rather than any technical shortcomings.

Modern cars are starting to use LED headlamps, which are noticeably brighter. It seems to be an arms race between manufacturers of “more and brighter”.
